Office Manager/Accountant
This is a Managerial/Supervisory role which will suit someone with experience. Key responsibilities are maintenance of Accounting records and production of reports including supervision of staff: Supervision of Accounts clerk in debtor and creditor processing and reconciliation. Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations. Monthly creditors payments. Credit control. VAT, Intrastate and VIES returns. Costing and selling price calculations. Preparation of all accruals, journals etc that are necessary for the month-end process. Reporting to Director on Profit and Loss, margins, cost analysis & cash flow. Liaise with auditors to complete year-end accounts. Liaise with Accounting software providers and resolution of support queries. Unless you have significant experience, this role will regrettably not be suitable for you.
Skills Required
Key skills/experience: Excellent time management and organisational skills. Ability to work without supervision to tight deadlines. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Experience with a fully integrated accounting package. Awareness and understanding of the processes involved in updating computerised Accounting records and a willingness to succeed.
